Llaeth y Llan
Llaeth Y Llan are creating quite a stir on breakfast tables across Wales and the rest of Britain with their delicious new ‘Bora Da’ range – Welsh for ‘Good Morning’!
The launch of the Bore Da! Range by Clwyd West MP Gareth Thomas at The Speciality Food Show – September 2004 heralds an exciting development for Gareth and Falmai – the producers of Llaeth y Llan’s superbly indulgent dessert yoghurts for over twenty years. The bright, lively new ‘heart’ logo has helped identify Bora Da with a health conscious eater, and place it firmly on both breakfast tables and in lunch boxes across Britain!
True Marketing introduced Llaeth y Llan to Gareth Evens – who has 30 years experience of working in the Dairy Industry at a senior level – to help them to develop a new marketing strategy, look at new routes to market in central and northwest England and identify new customers – both in the UK and possibly overseas.
Gareth commented; “In many ways, the product marketed itself – it was that good, but as the business moves forward, particularly with the launch of an important new product, there has to be a much stronger focus on the direction of the business. It was also clear that opportunities with existing customers were not fully exploited”.
As a result of increased sales due to assistance from the True Marketing mentor, a new job has been created at Llaeth y Llan.
Falmai Roberts comments; “Buyers are always looking for innovation and to stay on top, you must develop new products”.
