Ty Tanglwyst reducing food miles

Having recently won a True Taste of Wales award, it’s no wonder that Rhys Lougher of Ty Tanglwyst Dairy and his family are smiling – their Ty Tanglwyst branded milk has well and truly taken off. The development of the dairy was the brainchild of Rhys, who had toyed with the idea of adding value to their milk from the 120 acre farm in Pyle, near Bridgend. He has now taken this forward after identifying the opportunity to provide locally produced, fresh high quality milk to the local community. Rhys has received mentoring from True Marketing mentor David Edwards, to help him to launch and market the budiness, he commented:
